Parked car that was damaged and left damaged in Oak Bay hit

Police also called for bicycle thefts, smashed vehicle windows

Police believe a driver in a white car hit a car in Oak Bay before escaping the scene.

On Saturday, June 5, damage was discovered on a gray 2003 Toyota Corolla parked on the 2100 block of Fair Street.

The Toyota had damage to its taillight and the driver’s side panel. It appears that the suspicious vehicle was traveling west on Fair Street as the debris was in front of the Corolla. The color transfer on the Corolla indicates that the suspect vehicle was white.

Pedal force wiped

A pair of bicycles were reported stolen from a carport on the 300 block on Denison Road Tuesday.

The bikes are described as a black Raleigh 15-speed mountaineer valued at about $ 500 and a gray-matte BMX with steel-blue wall wires valued at about $ 650.

Thief smashes car window

Someone smashed a winch to access a vehicle parked on the 3300 block of Cadboro Bay Road. After breaking the window, someone stole a backpack containing camping gear and a Nikon D3400 digital camera. It was reported to Oak Bay Police on June 2nd.
