Coles put purchase restrictions and additional security measures in place in our Victorian stores to keep customers and team members safe after the Victorian government announced increased COVID restrictions.

We ask customers to ensure they wear a face mask before entering a Coles store in Victoria unless they have an exemption – and the same rules apply to our team.

Coles has also implemented improved security and hygiene measures in stores in Victoria to help customers shop safely when they enter.

Coles’ standard cleaning procedures at all supermarkets, liquor stores and Coles Express locations comply with all state health and safety guidelines to reduce the risk of COVID transmission.

To make it easier for our customers to access the groceries and groceries they need, we have increased the service levels for Coles Online.

To meet the demand for essential staples, all Coles Supermarkets, Coles Online and Coles Express stores in Victoria now have limits, including a one-pack per customer limit for the following items:

Cole’s chief operations officer Matt Swindells said the health and safety of customers and team members is a top priority for Cole.

“We have established security protocols in Victoria based on what we’ve learned from the COVID restrictions imposed in other states. Taking these immediate and additional security measures will protect our customers and team members and ensure they can feel safe in our stores, ”he said.

“We have also increased the number of team members in the stores and expanded our Cole’s online capacity to serve customers quickly and securely during this busy time.
