Grants of up to $ 125,000 for nonprofit arts and cultural organizations in Victoria

The city of Victoria hopes to improve its cultural spaces this year and would like to support non-profit organizations.

Victoria has allocated $ 125,000 to its cultural infrastructure grant program and is accepting applications through May.

The $ 125,000 program allows local arts and cultural nonprofits to apply for up to $ 25,000 for upgrades to physical infrastructure, equipment, and land purchases. There is also an option to apply for $ 10,000 to help the organization with business development planning, real estate development, facility design, and architecture.

Applicants can only apply for one of the two funding streams.

The city says the funding will help increase the number of cultural spaces in Victoria while enhancing existing facilities. They hope it will help residents and visitors experience more art in safe and accessible spaces.
