With sadness but great memories of a life well lived, we announce the death of our beloved mother, grandmother and friend Vicki at the age of 91.
Vicki was born on May 23, 1930 in Winnipeg, MB, to John and Mary Lozanski, one of twelve siblings. She leaves behind her daughter Wendy (Hulett Wyoming), son Wayne and wife Loren (Philadelphia, PA) and three grandchildren Shannon, Katelyn, Tyler and wife Jessica.
Vicki was previously deceased by her husband Thomas. Vicki was living in Montreal at the time of her husband’s death and visiting Vancouver Island and fell in love with her. Soon a move to Brentwood Bay followed and she spoke highly of the island’s beauty and the friends she had made. Always the first to offer a helping hand or volunteer for a cause, Vicki was quick to make a positive and lasting impression on everyone she met.
The family would like to thank the staff at Beacon Hill Villa for the care and comfort they gave Vicki while staying with them and their roommates, whose company she enjoyed so much.
Cremation arrangements entrusted to First Memorial Funeral Services. Instead of sending flowers, please make a donation on Vicki’s behalf to a charity of your choice to honor her generosity. She was loved very much and is missed.
