Victoria Police are seeking help in identifying suspects with golf clubs

Police say the suspect threatened an employee of a store on the 600 block of Queens Avenue

Victoria Police are seeking help from the public in identifying a suspect after it was reported that a man made threats on August 19 while swinging a golf club in a shop.

The incident began on the 600 block on Queens Avenue when another man had an argument with a company employee, according to VicPD. The man left and returned with the golf club-wielding suspect who allegedly threatened to harm the staff before both men left. When the police arrived on Thursday morning around 11 a.m., no one was injured at the scene.

The golf club police suspect was described as a 20- to 30-year-old Caucasian man approximately 5’8 inches tall who was wearing sunglasses and claret trousers at the time of the incident.
